The Process:

The NYC sought to create a digital Kickstarter Guidebook, aimed to guide youths (aged 15 to 35 years) in initiating, developing, and sustaining ground-up projects for the community. The purpose was to provide a step-by-step guide to support youths embarking on ground-up community projects in three key phases: (i) conceptualisation, (ii) implementation, and (iii) evaluation. Based on Bold’s 3A Methodology and our observations of the challenges youths face at the various project phases, Bold designed a guidebook with relevant tools and content pieces, taking into consideration the needs of both the less and more experienced youth profiles. The guidebook included tools ranging from self-discovery and reflection quizzes, ideation and brainstorming hacks, to plug-and-play project management templates and inspiring human interest stories. Through a series of focus group discussions to test for user feedback, we iteratively refined the guidebook to launch the final product, which you can find here
