Makan with Seniors

Makan with Seniors 2019 – Following the success of When Food Rescue Meets Bold , NUS Overseas College works with Bold at Work to leverage food to build community. Bearing an invitation to share a meal in hand, youths from the NUS Overseas College Alumni Club gently opens new doors and walks into the homes of Seniors in the community. As the Seniors play host to these strangers, both parties listen in to each other’s moments of life, fears and dreams. This engagement illustrates how interactions can be designed in a way that leverages on each other’s strengths and draws on what is common.
