The Process: 

Driven by an ongoing quest to bring relevance by connecting students to the latest industry and employment trends, Republic Polytechnic’s School of Management and Communication found alignment in having Bold design and curate a micro-job taster to facilitate students’ learning and exposure in 2 industries: HRTech and Automotive, spanning a total of 7 job roles ranging from HR, Finance and Marketing to Strategic Comms and Branding.  

Based on our 3A Methodology, Bold intentionally built in the learning through the Bold Portfolio Cards that call out the skills and mindsets needed to thrive in the specific industry and host organisation. Students got to i) Be exposed to Real World Issues & Standards and work hands-on with actual business challenges, being exposed to the actual tools of the trade and professional work processes as part of the taster experience and ii) through Bold’s learning facilitation, process new career options and possibilities and understand the nuances of what good work means to them and in different work contexts. In particular, the micro-job tasters opens up possibilities for further engagement with host organisation, be it in through job attachments or longer internships.
