Our Initiation- Beyond Borders

The best experiences are borderless, and sometimes not for the faint-hearted.
But for the ones who try the returns are priceless.

On a mission to bring the ‘Be Bold, Be You’ way of life across cultures, we hosted a group of Zhejiang, China officials for a quick preview of how we do what we do as part of their one-week learning tour to Singapore.

Perhaps we need no educating on the state of Asia- We have heard it on the news of it being an untapped region with bountiful opportunities and friendly neighbours awaiting our exploration. There has been so much we have heard about but very little we have personally experienced ( not counting the must-visit travel sites on trip advisors of course!)

In putting together the mini sharing and tour for our friends from Zhejiang, we considered all things experiential and collaborative as critical to enhance the experience. What can we learn from being physically together, hearing our stories and lived experiences?

For the Zhejiang officials, what we understood was how there was a huge shift into the online learning sphere, where virtual reality took precedence, perhaps novelty, perhaps its ease of reach and high stimulation.

The people we met through this proved just how much more there is for us to explore and uncover. It is also through these connections that we have started putting together our very own Future Ready Immersion Programme next February 2020, awaiting youths between 19 to 25 years, perhaps like us, recognising that there is a larger world out there, a world awaiting to be discovered through cross-cultural friendships and through real world discovery.
